Matt Roberts is a curator and art consultant with over 10 year’s experience of artist’s professional development support and exhibition management. He has worked in India, Israel, Denmark, Norway and Sweden, as well as lecturing at various universities and institutions across the UK. Having founded both the Matt Roberts Arts project space and the Salon Art Prize, he has mentored or offered one-to-one support to artists at all stages, and he has contributed critical writing to a-n, Axis, and Guardian Cultural professionals on a regular basis.

 

In Summer 2008 Matt Roberts Art opened a not-for-profit exhibition space on Vyner St in Hackney, East London. Exhibitions received audiences of over 880 people, gaining regular critical recognition. However we decided to close the gallery in early 2013. to concentrate on our UK wide professional development and event partnerships.
